every time I turn around, something new is going on about the civil war. a ranger told me at Spotysvania next year a new monument to south Carolina’s McGowan’s brigade will be placed at the mule shoe or bloody angle.
I recently visited both Perryville and Millspring Kentucky battlefields,the last time I went to both places was over ten years ago.
Going back was incredible for Millsprings has a wonderfull new visitor center and great driving tour,Perryville has new signs and walking trails both places had great people working inside the visitor centers,I highly recommend a trip to both.
