Let's get a debate going. Do you think it was right or wrong for Lincoln to suspend the writ of habeas corpus. Any takers.

I'll add what I think once I see some results. However, I love Lincoln and I think he was the greatest American ever born.

yes because maryland hadnt seceeded and he did what he needed to do.no because if i lived in maryland at that time i dont think id be too keen on the idea.it would have been a real mess if maryland had seceeded what would he have done then.
