Letter from the battlefield translation

Can anyone tell me what the 3 lines inside the box in this letter say. I am stumped.

"Our boys went over to the battle field after trophies and got any quantity of love letters gutta percha cloths minnatures (sic - I'm guessing "miniatures" etc. One Negro"

Looked up "gutta percha" and came up with this definition: Gutta-percha l was one of the first plastic materials. It was made from a mixture of resins from Malaysian trees. It was molded and used for daguerreotype cases, toilet articles, and picture frames in the nineteenth century.
